Mega Mansion

Meet Ron. He's the hardworking businessman behind 'Fixe-Up-Yu-Truck'. His dedication to great customer service is paying off and business is going well.

Today we get a glimpse inside his amazing mansion and a behind-the-scenes look at the life of a local hero.

Day or night, he's always on call. He works tirelessly to tow and repair vehicles that have suffered crash damage.

His tow truck, City Towing, deserves a full blog post of explanation, but, for now, let me just say that it was part of this Lego City Police Tow Truck Trouble set.

When he's not out rescuing people, Ron keeps City Towing in his high-security mansion.

It has an enormous garage for all Ron's vehicles.

He has a very expensive motorbike, although this is not it: this is only the four cylinder dirt bike.

And, just like the rest of us, he uses his garage to store a variety of could-be-useful stuff.

His tool kit is in there, his wheelbarrow, a crossbow, his motorbike helmet, a spare motorbike wheel... and is that a set of record decks?!

Security is very high priority so a camera guards all the expensive vehicles.

Indoors, Ron can relax on his huge sofa. You look a little lonely there, Ron.

The adjoining dining area seems ready for guests. It looks as though crab is on the menu tonight.

The mansion boasts an impressive staircase. The upstairs was off-limits to us today, but Ron hinted that a tour of the bedrooms could be on the cards in future.

Catering facilities are good: the mansion has a sizeable kitchen.

The fridge and cupboard are well stocked.

And of course, architect Charlie has installed his signature-design hob stove-top as featured previously in the Cool Caravan with Stove-Top How-To.

Members of Ron's family enjoy preparing food together. That microwave is huge! And the coffee machine is state-of-the-art.

Sally is at the sink. Charlie is going to chop some carrots.

Oops. I'm not sure Ron wanted us to see inside his messy store cupboard, which used to be an en suite bathroom, incidentally.

He's proud of his office/bedroom combination, at the hub of his business operation.

Ron says it's important to sleep next to his desk so that he can respond as rapidly as possible to calls for help.

His wardrobe is nearby too, though Ron actually sleeps in his work clothes so as to be ready for action at any moment.

The desk is central to how Ron provides his services. Here is where all his crucial communications equipment lives.

Ever attentive to detail, that large white sheet of cardboard plays an important role. On it are the words 'City Towing' and Ron says that he leaves it on his bed if he is called out in the night. That way his wife, Sally, knows where he has gone if she wakes up to find him missing. He's so considerate.

Also on the desk are Ron's phone, walkie-talkies, computer and an impressive array of electrical equipment and gadgetry.

And no Wookiees.

Psst! Grown-ups!
